Says Christine Sykes: The photograph was taken by our form master, Pip Wright, in 1954. It consists of the members of the newly created Form 5R and a few members of Form 5B with whom we shared the form-room. Never heard of 6G!
Members of 5B are John Ward, John Francis, ? Wood, Joan Streets, Janet Beadsworth and Lynn Taylor.
The rest are 5R – suddenly told that we would be taking O Levels in year 5 rather than in Lower Sixth! Scary stuff at that time.
