Sad news that Miss Mildred (Millie) ELLIS, former English teacher at LEGS, died March 22nd, aged 84. Miss Ellis' funeral took place on Thursday, 7 April 2011 in Thorpe, the village where she lived, near Asbourne.

Miss Ellis started teaching at the Grammar School in 1951-2.
