OBITUARY of Carl Reavey 1956-2018 ( Head Boy at Long Eaton Grammar School ) from Linda Holmes nee French He was a truly inspirational character who everyone respected and loved ..He studied anthropology at Durham Uni with David Bellamy ,toured with the Undertones pop group as sound engineer ,ran a hotel in Isla - The Port Charlotte Hotel, ran the Islands newspaper, then became the head of Communications for the Bruichladdich whiskey distillery. So a very interesting life. He died suddenly on Monday 8 Jan 2018. He would have been 61.
