The Old Scholars' Service List is very brief this year as most
of the more recent leavers have yet to be called up. The following
names have been received :-
H. B. Hutchinson (1937-43), Royal Corps of Signals.
L. V. Pape (1937-45), Army.
Doreen Weaver (1943-5), W.R.N.S.
P. Curtis (1938-44), Navy.
G. H. Wright (1938-45), Army.
F. R.. Macdonald (1939-45),. R.A.F.
J. D. Fuller (1938-43), Army.
J. B. Crisp (1939-41), Army.
It is with deep regret that we record the following casualties :-
W/O. Ronald Lewis, R.A.F., was reported missing after operations
over Germany in February, 1945, and is now presumed killed.
Pilot Oflicer Harry Walton was killed in a flying accident over
Burma in July, 1945.
Alan Butler, serving in the Fleet Air Arm, was fatally injured
in a motor-cycle accident in June, 1946.
G. W. Birkbeck died as the result of an accident in September~
1945.
We sefid our deepest sympathy to the relatives of all these old
students. *
