Janet Smith with my husband Ron which was taken in August 2006 whilst we were on holiday in Queensland, getting away from the wintry weather in Geelong, Victoria, where we live. In 1967 I was working for the World Health Organization in Geneva and went on a Mediterranean cruise where I met Ron (who is Australian) who was working for the United Nations in Cyprus. We were married in 1968 and have lived in Australia ever since, with occasional trips back to the UK.
We have 3 adult children, one of whom is working in Montreal, Canada - can't imagine where she gets her wanderlust from!
